Small Weddings…

When I tell people I am a photographer, usually the first thing they ask “oh, like weddings?” It always throws me off guard because I haven’t done that many and to be honest…they have always intimidated me. Last year a friend asked me if one of her besties could use our property for her wedding and I take the photos. I agreed and loved every bit of the small gathering, outdoor wedding. I then photographed another wedding at their property on the lake in my community. This year, I was able to photograph another small wedding at my studio and it was perfection as well. When I say I have always been intimated to shoot a wedding…I really don’t know why. Maybe it was the fact that weddings should be perfect without any moments missed but I have found that it really is such an amazing event that I can capture for someone. I am excited to offer small weddings as part of my sessions now, whether they are at the DT-Photography studio or elsewhere.
